You set a wonderful precedent. Let us build up on our past experience and make this year’s ordination another success, please God. Please pray for Deacon Phipps and our other seminarians.

Great news: our superior General confirmed then-Fr Phipps’ assignment at St Mary’s next summer.

Month of May, Month of Mary. Did you know? Every weekday, you can join in recitation of the Holy Rosary at St Mary’s, from 11.30am to 11.55am. We thank those who provide regularity for this essential Marian devotion. Please come 30mins before Mass this week and pray the Rosary for so many intentions!

Well done, Pro-lifers: thank you for your participation in the Warrington SPUC Chain last Saturday; the Rosary on the Coast last Sunday (70 present); the March For Life in London yesterday. Further events: Pro-Life Garden Fete on 24th June. On the same topic, you can online watch or read Fr de Malleray’s homily on Alfie Evans (with about 40,000 visits over the past week).

Concert yesterday at St Mary’s. Warrington Choral Society performed music by the Baroque Czech composer Zelekna; by Vivaldi and Mozart.

Thank God for 6 new deacons ordained at our Bavarian seminary yesterday by H. Ex. Wolfgang Haas, Archbishop of Vaduz: Janosch Donner, Christophe Joly, Julius Kappel, Hubert Lion, Thibaut Matschek, Thomas Souville.
