It is our great joy to announce that on 8 September 2018, the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Bishop Philip Egan, the Bishop of Portsmouth, established us as a Personal Parish, under the patronage of St John Fisher. St Mary’s Summer Sports Day
On Thursday 27 August, St Mary’s had our first ever summer sports day. Children competed in glorious weather in nearby Victoria Park, with events ranging from long-distance running to egg-and-spoon and three-legged races, and a three-way tug of war.
